DPO Question
I'm trying to determine how many dpo I am...
I got my Smiley on a Thursday, and again the next day (I know most people stop testing after the first smiley, but I wanted to see how long my surge lasted). Saturday i got a negative. So, I take that to mean that I ovulated sometime over night between Friday into Saturday.
Do you count the day you ovulated as 1 DPO, or is it the next day (in my case Sunday)??

i know they usually say it can happen anywhere from 1-3 days after you get a positive on the OPKs. the only way to really know would be to temp. for me, i had one month where i O'd 1 day after i got a positive reading and then 2 days after during another month.
the day after you O is considered 1 DPO.

ITA. You ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive OPK. So you most likely ovulated Friday. DPO means days post/past ovulation. So the day after you ovulate is 1DPO.
