if i got my smiley last night, then today starts dpo, right? so, today would be 1dpo?

hmmm . . . You can ovulate anywhere from 12-36 hours after a positive OPK, so you can't automatically assume that the day after a +opk is 1 dpo.

A lot of people temp - so that gives a more accurate picture of when you O.
Otherwise you can expect to O the day after a +OPK or the day after that.
To be conservative, I'd always say to assume you O 2 days after your first +OPK, and then the day AFTER that is 1 DPO.
So you will probably O today or Tuesday, and count yourself as 1 DPO on Wednesday.
Right now should be major BD time for you!!

ok. i know. dh went to my cousins now and dont know when he'll be home. but bd yesterday and when he gets home tonight we will again, and then tomorrow and wed and thurs again i guess right?

I temp in addition to using the OPKs. Generally, we try to follow deanna's plan which is:
start bding every other day on CD7.
On CD10, start using OPK and continue bding every other day.
Once you get a + OPK, bd that night, and the 2 consecutive nights following.
Skip a day and BD once more.
