when i was a child we would have family picnics.......for some reason we stopped doing them..I was just recently thinking that maybe we should start them up again.......they were alot of fun.......

We used to all the time but then the family got too big and no one wanted to arrange one.
I would love to plan a family reunion cruise but I am not sure that my family could afford that.

When my Dad was alive we had one every Dec.26th Boxing Day...Now that he is gone we seem to only get together for sad stuff. We are trying to setup a reunion in Oregon every other year. Most of my cousins live there.

My family is really close and we see each other every week.
We do have a yearly reunion at the end of July every year in DH's family. We are going to St. George Island on July 30th.

Yep, every summer (my dads side). We have a very close family so I really see my cousins, aunts and uncles all the time anyway...it's for the more extended part.

Every 4th of July weekend for the last 33 years. My grandma was one of 16 and they got together and bought a lot of land upstate. Everyone has houses and we have a big reunion every year. I think there were about 150 people at the 25th reunion. My dad has about 60 1st cousins  It is a lot of fun.

Most are in NY or CA but some are all over.
It is held in a different US city every 5 years.

Most of the time our family reunion is in the Philippines too cause most of the family is still there. Thank goodness its only every 5 years or so.
The last reunion was in San Diego though. That was a blast although not everyone was able to make it.

YES!!  we are actually having one this year.... we are going to Hersey park for it! I am so excited. if your not counting weekend's it's 10 more days till the reunion.

nope. we all live relatively close, so we get together often- birthdays, holidays, etc. DHs family is a spread out a little bit more so they have a reunion every summer. unfortunately, its always on our anniversary weekend and the passed couple years we've been away for our anniversary and haven't been able to go. its nice to get together with everyone though.
