Does your DH carry around a diaper bag?
DH never carries a diaper bag. When we lived in Manhattan, he'd stuff a diaper, wipes and sippy cup in the stroller and go. Now we live in the suburbs and he just takes a diaper and wipes in his car.

i bought him the backpack one. He hasnt had to use it. Hes always home with her or they just go for a walk.

no and he doesn't feel like he should have to  i always have mine overpacked and ready to go. so he will carry the diaper bag around if i am not there and HAS to because, well... let's not neglect the baby here. he'll just grab mine and leave without even looking in it first. but if im there, i have to be holding it. he doesnt have one of his own or anything.

Yes. We agreed on a gender neutral backpack type diaper bag and he does wear it when we are out and about.

my DH never really goes places w DS w out me, but when we're in stores and stuff if im holding the baby or doing something else, he doesnt mind holding the diaper bag. If he does go out w him w out me, I pack the diaper bag for him and i think he just leaves it in the car. I have a light blue coach one, and then we got a gray more of a manly looing one from the shower, but we never end up switching it - if DH felt he needed to take it with him if he was going to be somewhere for a long time, i think he would

Yes we have the backpack one that's geared towards dads. Actually that's the one I prefer now too. Lots of compartments and I have my hands free.

I usually leave the diaper bag in the car, if he takes her out by himself. He will use it if he had to. When she was a baby and had bottles & more stuff, he always carried it around, he didn't care.

i have a diaper bag packed and ready to go. Up until dd was about 3 months old we would take it everywhere (dh would take it if he was going out alone). now, it sits in our living room - we have diapers, wipes and a change of clothing in the stroller. if we are going out for an entire day we take the diaper bag.

He wouldn't really "carry" it per se.

Same with my DH. He puts it in the bottom of the stroller and keeps it in his trunk all the time.

no but niether did i. I just left everything in the car in a diaper bag. It only came out of the car when needed. so on those rare occasions i guess he would "carry" it around

yes. We have 2 diaper bags... one is dark gray & doesn't look like a purse at all, so if we got out he'll carry that. I have a second one that's more feminine looking, though I haven't used it yet.

yes DH has a shoulder bag...its called diaper dude or something...on the inside there is a checklist of this he needs!
He's totally used it AND referenced the list!

Neither of us are big on diaper bags. I leave a lot of stuff in the car. When we go somewhere for a long while, there's usually a stroller involved, so we put stuff in the that. I've really cut down on " stuff". Any just in case type stuff, I leave in the car. I also tend to buy lunch and drinks at my destination.

We haven't carried the diaper bag since DD is still in the NICU BUT DH does carry the pink Boppy with purple flowers to the hospital everyday that we visit her. 16 years ago when we had our first DD, DH did not carry a diaper bag.

Yes
our diaper bag is always stocked with everything, so we only need to add whatever food we're bringing with us for that day
if he goes out with DS by himself, he brings the diaper bag with him
it's a black diaper bag though, so maybe that's why

Nope. He would keep the diapers and wipes in a backpack or put the diaper bag in the stroller. When I ask him to grab the diaper bag he takes the baby and hands me the bag.

No way, he would never. He carries a diaper and a sippy cup in the car. He rarely takes a stroller unless it's a walk only. He will have him walk or carry him.
