Does anyone else have a husband that will not...
...go the doctor. He sounds like he is on the brink of pnemonia, yet he insists that it will go away (this has been going on for like a week). Not to mention he looks like shiat and he's up hacking a lung all night and keeping me up.
Is it like a macho thing?

DH used to be like that, but I broke that habit real fast. Men are babies enough the quicker they get healed the better off us women are!

yes, DH says the doctor is a "last resort.  doesnt make any sense to me! we have insurance, go use it!!! i literally have to call the doctor and make the appointment or else he'd never go!

I hate going, but I have to go every 3 months anyway, so I've resigned myself that I need to go. If it's not scheduled, I will try and push it off, hoping it will go away on it's own, though...

Yes, even after I said to him "I think you really should be in the hospital on IV antibiotics" he didn't go to the doctor. He only went when he was *literally* dying. And then he was sick for about 8 weeks afterwards...

Yes, mine - if he is really really sick, he will go to the hospital. But for regular sickness, dermatologist, shoulder pain that he's had for 3 years - nope. I nag him about it all the time but he still won't make an appointment
