I kinda like the solid color burberry ones. But I would never get a pair because I think they look good on girls with very slender legs.

I like them after this week I am definitely thinking of getting a pair. I'd probably check the cheaper places though (Strawberry, Rainbow, etc)
But do they also keep your feet warm?

now that is exactly why I started this post, as my pants were soaked entirely on Wednesday...and after always seeing everyone SMARTLY dressed around NYC and me looking like a fool, I figured I would see what everyone thought of these...

i have a pair of the tall ones. they are comfy, except that i have a wide calf and have to wear the pants over the boot. they are also a little too warm, but I HATE wet shoes and socks. i would prefer to tuck them in, but i can't. i think i'll try to get a pair of the short ones, they come to the ankle.

my feet really don't breathe in them. I would not wear them for hours or anything. And mine are kind of wide, so my foot gets a little lost in them. I guess it keeps them warm, but not Ugg kind of warm, more of a hot feeling.

That is my problem too.. I do not have slim legs at all, and my calfs in particular are WIDE even when I'm at my slimmest (hence the reason I CAN NEVER wear knee high boots comfortably  and I love knee high boots!
So I would probably have to wear the tall boots with my pants OVER them too...
I think if I do get them, I'm gonna get the short ones too... I would only wear them to/from work anyhow, so I'm not too worried about them being hot

I have a pair from Bass and wore them yesterday I bought them over the summer and forgot I had them...so Wednesday I got SOAKED while yesterday I was nice and dry. I wore them with a cute pair of jeans with the cuff rolled and a sweater. I work at an ad agency so it's pretty casual. I got a few compliments, even from DH! 
I never used to like them but now I do. Here's a pic, they are like a plaid design:

I have a pair...I got them lat year...at first I was like NO WAY...but after a few days of lush and snow last year I gave in.
EVERYONE wears them in the city(I work in the city)...so I don't feel like such a loser...I personally think they are stupid looking...BUT they DO keep my feet nice and dry.
I also wear my pants over them...I have the short ankle ones.

Jenn I actually LOVE those... I love the plaid design but was not too crazy about the Burberry ones.. that design is cute!

I saw some in the Coach store at the mall and thought they were cute - though I could not see me spending that kind of money of rain boots. I would contemplate getting a cheap pair after the weather this week.

Personally- I hate them!! I actually got great boots for the rain from Parelli and they have a nice round toe and a 2 1/2 inch heal. I wear them even when its not raining.
But since I am pregnant now and soon I will start commuting from LI, I am thinking of getting a pair.

Do you work in the city? I actually got mine this time last year at a sample sale at the Parsons School of Design on 40th and 7th. In Saks they go for $150. I got mine at that sample sale for $55 I believe...
I'll let you know when I hear about that sample sale again...

NO...which is really why i haven't bought a pair. I wouldn't really be wearing them all that often to spend that much money on a pair..but $55 O M G that is crazy!!!!!!

these are REALLY cute. i ALWAYS wear heels, so these type of boots are not an option for me.

I kinda like 'em, but I'm not in the rain often enough to buy them.
I saw a realllly cute green patterned pair at Target yesterday on clearance for under $10 - BUT they didn't have any 8s left. (Only 6s and 9s and 10s)  I definitely would've bought them.
I saw a girl wearing them today, with cuffed jeans and a green top. So cute!
