Do you wear these/like these?

Since its been raining ALL WEEK () you cannot help but notice here in NYC a LOT of ladies wearing these boots ... I knew they wre sort of coming back into style.. but personally I just cannot dig it

or such as these... these are from Burberry.. also come in green, orange, yellow....) $130.00



So truthfully, do you like them? Anyone have them? If so, are they comfy?

I dunno... I'm sure they are great for this weather but I just can't imagine myself wearing these Reminds me too much of 1st grade wearing my matching raincoat, boots and umbrella

If i worked in the city i would definitely buy a pair
I think the top ones are cute

But sincei really do not do a lot of walking around in the rain ...no i wouldn't bother buying a pair

I've seen them all over this week. I think they are really adorable if worn correctly and the pattern is nice, but I don't think I can quite pull off that look. I'm 5'0" and think I would like like I ws in kindergarden!

I have a pair with strips on them. I got them from Mandees for 16.00. I love them. I love them in the snow as well. It is a must have.

I must be so out of the fashion loop ... truly, I am so out of style. I saw so many ladies with these this week, I was like WHEN did THESE get popular again??

I know they are practical but I'm so not able to pull it off.. besides I'm not a bright color wearing type of person

I remember being a kid with those.

I don't own a pair, but I think they could be cute and functional too!

I was shocked how much wear I got out of them last year. They held up very well. I even wore them sledding. And brought them along on 2 ski weekends, so easy to just slip them on and off.

pattern ones i would never wear, the solid maybe if i was walking in the rain alot!

I was thinking of buying apir of Golashes...I think they're cute & keep my feet dry!!!

I had them as a kid and I used to wear them to the horse farm in the winter or on muddy days.

You may see them around a lot because it seems that a lot of the retro-prep look is in. The equestrian look also seems to be in. I guess I should start wearing my riding clothes to more than just the barn

I like them and would definitely wear them - the solid colors though!

If i come across a nice pair at a reasonable price - i would buy - if not - i wouldn't even bother.

You could be right about the style thing Red. I just see them featured in more stores this year than every before.. I have NEVER seen them so much as I have this fall , of course this weather makes you notice them.. I have a pretty long walk to/from work so I check people out for style tips sometimes ()m since I never go shopping lately! These boots were everwhere this season

Oh I just saw Juliet's post.. yes that is true, I think that the boot look is more in style with the way the fall fashion is going this year.. I am NOT into the preppy/equestrian look , hence I will prob. never get the whole look down pat

I think what happens is that in the burbs or boroughs or anywhere you drive to work, you sometimes dont see people walking around as much so you dont noticed their footwear QUITE as much..I hardly ever see anyone by my house with these , but in the city everyone clones the other person , and since everyone has got to walk somewhere, I suppose the boots make sense

I am dying to get a pair...especially after this week of rain and they would be perfect slushing around after snow storms.

They are totally not my style and I know I will look ridiculous but then soaking wet shoes/socks/pants are not my style either
