Do you tip your tattoo artist? PIC ADDED!
I'm going for my first tattoo today   (if I don't chicken out) and the tattoo should be roughly
$80-$100. Do I tip? How much?

yes, I tip...I got a 75 dollar tattoo oonce (I thought that was an AMAZING price) so I gave him $100 total

yes depending on how long it takes and how hard or easy the tattoo was usually 5-20 all mine took like 30 min each so i usually tip like 10 DHs tattoo took 3.5 hours we tipped 25 i think

I tipped $40 for my hour and a half tattoo. Probably too much, judging by your comments. But I felt it was warranted.

The tat that took 4 hours I tipped $50 the one that took about 1 hour I tipped $30
I love the guys I go to so I don't mind giving them tips.

I just got my first tattoo 6 weeks ago. I tipped him $15 for a $100 tattoo. Can't wait to go back and get more added to it.

LOL. You aren't being nosy silly
I got some lettering on my foot that is sentimental to Dh and I.
It's part of a quote:
"Grow old along with me. The best is yet to be...."
I had it done in a font called Lucida handwriting and it looks sooo pretty!
I wanted an orange blossom along with it but the tattoo artist said that its too much for such a small area on the foot so I just got the lettering b/c I trust that he knows better. I'll see if I can get a pic up soon. It was $100 and I tipped him $20 and it only took MAYBE 20 mins or so. Boy did it hurt like a motha!!!!

It turned out exactly how I envisioned it. They did a really great job! They gave me a pillow to squeeze for the pain...but they should have put tape on my mouth cause I was screaming!!! LOL

I live in Queens and had it done at a local place called Pete and Cubo's.
I've been getting my piercing there since I was 17 and my brother had two tattoos done there recently.
