Do you tip for a tattoo and if so how much?
I am not sure what the norm is, and DH is getting a tattoo tonight.

it depends, my husband's tatoo artist rents the char in the tattoo shop (as do most tatoo artists) so they pocket most the money for what you are charged for the tat. It is totally indiviual, when my hubby had a tat done by someone who did not rent out the chair but worked for the store front, he tipped more than the artist who actually rents the chair in the shop.
