Do you tip a painter?
He charged us a great rate, and did excellent work. He was here for the whole week. Is it customary to tip painters? If so, how much? I think the total will come to about $2K.

NO! His contract price is what you pay and nothing more.

Re: Do you tip a painter?
we usually tip on services. you could maybe do $50-$100 if you were very happy with the job. if you don't, not a biggie.

Re: Do you tip a painter?
If you hire a company and they pay workers to do the work, then yes.
If it is a person doing their own work at their own schedule, then no.
