Do you tip your painter?
I am paying cash for the job ( ) and it's all in his pocket (he's by himself). Should I tip also? If so, how much do ya think?

no -- he works for himself. IMO, you don't need to tip.

I agree. We always pay our painter in cash (he works by himself) and I honestly never even considered a tip! Maybe if he was through a larger company or something.

no, we just had two rooms and hallway painted. we negotiated the price and that's what I paid.
