I believe they are smart and thats why they are in the position they are in bc of good business skills.

Do you work for my last boss? Because that was the general concensus!
Towards the end of me working there, I couldn't even LOOK at him without sneering. It was SOOO bad. He drove everyone nuts. He could even make the nice little Christian girl we worked with curse under her breath - THAT'S bad.

No. He's an idiot. I do his job! We've had fights--ugh. I regret having him at my wedding. He also critiqued my MIL's dress. Little did i know then....jerk off.

to be honest i have the best boss
he really is great he does not bother us at all ..lets us do as we please as long as our work is done...and since our work is done he does not get botherd by his manager ..and thats a good thing lol
so yes i do respect him because he respects me

My supervisor is a babbling idiot (even though I love him as a person) who really shouldn't be managing anything...
My boss is a pig-headed greedy jerk who doesn't give a rat's butt about anyone.....

I do completely! He has a ton of integrity, works harder than anyone else here and only expects what he gives.
In addition, he makes sure to reward those he feels deserve it. When I was on maternity leave, I was supposed to get only 8 weeks paid of the 12 I took off. I had some work to do while I was out and took care of it. Without asking, my boss agreed to pay me for the entire time I was out since he said he wanted to show me good faith since I showed the firm and our client good faith by working while I was out.

yes. he is the master of our field. i love hearing that he is the best from our clients- as they have alot of respect for him too.
now, some of the head partners i dont have alot of respect for.

I just find it sad. My old company I disliked my immediate supervisors but respected them for what they did. And the CEO was very WELL RESPECTED in the industry. He made everyone feel like they were a million bucks all the time.
Where I am now, it is awful. There is no respect. The man's only concern is his "image" and making everything look "rosy" instead of facing the issues (and there are A LOT) head-on. He doesn't 'go to bat' for his employees and let's us get walked all over from other departments, we have to stick up for ourselves and fight for what is right for the clients and for the company without any direction. It's soo frsutrating. I like what I do, but I want to SCREAM all the time. It's exhausting.
