Do you love what you do for a living? Do you like it?
Or hate it...it pays the bills?

Can't stand it, but it pays the bills. That's why I'll be going to school at night in the spring.....this can't be what I do until I die, it just can't......

I do love what I do... pays well, hours are easy, get tons of vacation time, and gives me little moments of accomplishment here and there.

I do love what I do....The pay is great & the hours are wonderful plus my commute is simple (3 miles). I get a sense of accomplishment plus challenges to work through

When I worked, I LOVED my job!

I taught preschool and the pay was AWFUL and the days were rough most times but it was SO FULFILLING! I loved making a difference in a childs life and I had lots of confidence doing it.

And I also LOVE the people I work with, and I've learned that that is nearly as important as loving the work. I consider my co-workers to be some of my best friends, and it makes coming into work so much more enjoyable.

i don't LOVE what i do... but i do like it. i'm a speech therapist at a school. its fun, and the days do go fast because the kids keep you busy.. BUT, its tough sometimes because so many of the kids aren't gettnig disciplined at home, so they dno't know how to handle rules at school.
i can't complain too much, though... and i really can't imagine doing anything else...

I love what I do. As stressed out as I can be sometimes (the past week has been pretty awful), I can't imagine doing anything else.

i love my unit and coworkers, but the work itself is pretty boring. It's easy work and pays well though, so i'll miss it when i leave.

I love teaching --- but I don't feel like I do much of teaching right now. Between all of the extra demands being put on us by administration/DOE, plus my long commute, dealing with behavior problems all the time, etc. I feel like I don't have enough time to just make PROGRESS with my kids.

I love my job and I love my career. It has its ups and downs - I'm sort of freelance, so every few months or so I have to look for a new job and that stinks, but the job that I've been at recently - I've been at it on and off for several years now. I don't like that I don't get paid vacation or sick days and being that I don't know my long term employment situation, it's hard to plan trips around when I won't be working.

i LOVE what i do and i LOVE the people i work for - but this is only most of the time, not all of the time. i work in a position where i really truly feel that i am doing good for the community and that makes me feel great - even when the people i deal with on a day to day basis make me feel lousy sometimes.

my approach to that is usually that i don't take people's attitudes pesonally, and let them deal with the court system - i am just the "middle" man - but i have more influence than i let them think so it is easier to take people's sh!t than it might normally me, and allows me to focus on doing good in my job.

There was a time when I LOVED my job, now I kind of like it. It's like shiny new toy that has lost it's luster. I've become bored with it AND my miserable commute hasn't helped the situation.

I like what I do, LOVE is way too strong of a word, but like many on here, I don't like where i do it....the people here are all young and cool, but theres alot of "clicks" and therefore favortism WHICH PISSES ME OFF!!!! Just because you are friends with the bosses should not give you idiots special privleges!!!
