do you join in?
When there are drama threads do you join in? I try to stay out but sometimes I just can't help myself
What do you think are the topics that cause the most drama?

I think any thread has the potential to be a "drama thread"...

The majority of the time, I stay away!
I am not as witty with come backs as some of these ladies on here.

Re: do you join in?
I usually stay away from the drama.
Sometimes I read them but I don't usually comment.

I think that there are drama threads and debate threads.
I do not intentionally "stir the pot" but I do like to say my peace.
I at least try to have a valid point/opinion, rather than just rolling my eyes or comments on someone elses "controversial" one. I think that is what causes more drama than anything else.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It depends on how angry I get. Then I usually temper my temper and restrain my responses.

I usually try to avoid drama but sometimes it can't be helped. Some threads that I think cause drama are...... pet stores!
Also posters who say one thing one day and change their turn the next.....
Someone who drinks and drives and then posts about it......
Using words or phrases that other people think are inappropriate.....
and these are just ones that have shown up in the last few days!

Re: do you join in?
Unless I have a valid point or feel strongly about it, I won't join a thread just to or mince other's words and run.
I may not always represent the most popular opinion, but I won't deviate just to go with the norm.

Re: do you join in?
Sometimes... but not for kicks... only when I see something that I think is really wrong, or someone is being really stupid
ETA - or it's something that I feel very strongly about (i.e. drunk driving, breastfeeding, racism )

If it has to do with politics or history and I have an opinion, yes. Otherwise, not really...

Re: do you join in?
Sometimes...when I have something to say I put in my two cents... depends...
But...alot of times, the drama is taking place between two people and even though you can clearly see who is right/wrong, who has completely lost sight of the original argument, and who was the first to stoop to low blows and name-calling because they didn't have an argument anymore - it makes no sense to get involved.
As for what causes drama... well...I'm afraid if I start naming the topics it will...well, cause drama!!

This is very true too... I think alot of times, the very same debates that come to be known as drama here are conversations that we could all rationally have with each other if we were sitting around a table face-to-face and there would be alot less defensiveness/getting insulted going on because we could all hear each other's tones...
