do you have dining room table with a leaf? I have a Q
If you only use the leaf to expend the table for when you have people over, where do you store the leaf other times? Does the table have a special storage underneath where the leaf goes when not used?

Ours has two leaves, we keep them in the basement on a shelf. I remember growing up my mom used to keep them behind her curtains in the dining room, just standing up against the wall.

Our table has 2 leaves. We keep one in and it's a pretty standard 84" length table. The other leaf is stored in its bag, and in a hall closet. It doesn't fold, it's its kind of cumbersome to store. I would leave it in my table, but the table is just too long with it.

We haven't used our leaf yet, it's been stored in our walk in pantry wrapped in a towel, haha. It's the most convenient place since it's the next room over.

ours is under the bed in our bedroom. I have seen tables where there are spots to keep the leaf under it.

Our DR and LR are adjoining, so we keep the leaves and the table pads under the couch and loveseat in the LR

For a long time I had the leaves in the front hall closet, but now I just leave them in the table with a table cloth. I found that when I left the leaves in, we actually used the table.

In have three leaves and leave on in.
The other two are in the back of the hall closet.
I used to keep them under my bed.

The leaf stays in from November to January b/c we have so many birthdays and the holidays. After that we store the leaf in the basement

Does anyone know if they have storage "baggys" for lack of another term. i don't want mine to scratch. i have two that i put in my closet, but would love to put under a bed. but afraid of scratching.

Ours is a butterfly leaf. It folds into the table but we keep it opened. Our table is a rectangle when it's tucked and a square when it's opened. I like to leave it as a square.

Our EIK table has 2 leafs, but they can be stored under the table (butterfly leaf).
Our DR table has 1 leaf and we store it in a leather bag against the wall near a closet in the upstairs out of the way/out of sight.

Our leaf is attached to the table and stays underneath the top of the table when we're not using it. My parents table also has something similar but their leaf isn't attached.

Growing up our 2 tables with leafs had them come out from underneath. Thats actually the only way I have seen them.

We have two leaves, one leaf stays inside the table and the other one we wrap in bubble wrap and stick behind the china cabinet.
