When I have my baby and she's old enough I'm going to do what my parents did - every kid decorated a "mailbox" and snuck cards in and then everyone opened their mailbox on Valentine's Day.
Then we'd do a V-day themed craft project rather than gifts.

Love this idea!!!
My DD is too small for candy and I hate stuffed animals so we got her a toy (under $25.00) that I wish we had got at Christmas. I only really buy toys for holidays so I didnt' feel bad about splurging.

Yes, It usually something small. Not sure what this year will be, but last year was a personalized cookie, and a coloring book, crayons.

Yes. DH and I always got something cute from our Grandparents and parents and we are keeping the tradition. Nothing big, but some small stuff.
I found a couple of real cheap games at TJ Maxx for the boys. They're learning games like word bingo or something like that. Also got some chocolates, stickers and coloring books from AC Moore along with learning puzzles and mazes. All really cheap and since we're going on vacation soon they're also perfect for the plane.
Since Vday is on a Saturday DH and I will have it all on the kitchen table when they get up in the morning and see it downstairs. I'll decorate the table with red hearts and we'll make heart shaped pancakes.
I got DH some shirts, but only bc he needs some for vaca and I'll wrap them up and give it with a card.
Usually I hate Vday, but for the kids we make it fun without costing much at all.

No. She has way too much stuff and we still have most of her candy from christmas sitting around. I did buy a valentine craft kit at target so we can make valentines for her friends together and we'll probably make heart shaped cookies together. She's already gotten gifts from family and I know she has more on the way which, again, she doesn't need!

I got mine a little box of chocolates, a small stuffed animal each and a book to practice writing letters from the dollar section at target. I spent $5.50 on each kid.
