Do you give a Valentine's gift to your child?
No, we only do gifts for Christmas & birthdays, and candy & basket items for Easter. I will make them heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and I am hoping to bake cookies with them that afternoon. But that's it.

Do you give a Valentine's gift to your child?
I don't get my DD's anything other than for xmas , bdays, easter, and vday.. they don't get toys throughout the year so I use the holidays as an "excuse " to get them things I want them to have (they are only 3 and 1, so they don't "want" or ask for things themselves..yet =)) This year I got a couple of board games (candyland and sliding sofia the first) bc I would like to play more games together with them as a family, I also hot a hairband lollipop bc they need new hair bands lol.. will also get some nailpolish bc we started polishing older DD"s nails as a treat to keep her from sucking her thumb.. all in all well under 20 dollars in total.

Re: Do you give a Valentine's gift to your child?
Yes. I always decorate the kitchen for Valentine's Day and the kids each get a small Russel Stover heart, a card, and one other small treat or toy. I also make a heart cake and a special dinner for the family.
My parents always did the same for us when we were kids and we loved it, it was fun to get a special treat and meal. So naturally, I'm doing it for my own kids.

I bought a small chocolate for each girl and then they are each getting a Valentine's themed book (Nancy Drew for older dd, etc.) and then littlest dd is getting a new pink rubber duck for the bath and the older girls are getting new lip glosses from Justice.

Re: Do you give a Valentine's gift to your child?
I'll get them something on clearance the day or two after Valentine's Day (candy, cookies, stuffed animal). They have no concept of Feb 14 vs Feb 15th.

Do you give a Valentine's gift to your child?
Nope.. I think she gets enough crud from school. I put cute valentine's stuff on her but that's it. I don't get anything for my hubby and he may or may not get anything for me. Valentine's is VERY low on the holiday list. Like President's day type of importance. LOL
To be fair.. this year she gets a trip to NYC So there's that!

Yes, but a little something. Last year we got a stuffed animal, this year I'll probably get a little candy treat or coloring books.
