Do you buy your breakfast and lunch or bring it with you?

I for the most part bring my breakfast and lunch. On the rare occasion I will buy lunch.

Depends on the week and whether or not there are leftovers &/or lunch items in the house.

If I have stuff- I bring lunch, if not I buy it.

I'm not a big breakfast person, but sometimes I will buy a muffin or a yogurt parfait if I'm in the mood.

I almost always have breakfast at home (or in the car on my way to work - granola bar or something like that) and almost always buy lunch

depends how much time i have in the morning and how long the line is at starbucks. this morning i bought a chicken BLT and a yogurt@ starbucks, almost $11.

and guess what?? both are in my belly already and its only 10 am.

I dont get a lunch break and sometimes work 12 hr days so i try to pack a snack. If i see break in my schedule for 15 min, i'll order chinese food because chinese food is the only thing u can have delivered in manhattan and not have to wit 45min-1 for delivery.

otherwise, ill try and throw in some fruit , a granola bar or olives in my bag to munch on.

I bring both with me every day. Breakfast is always cereal and lunch is a sandwich.

I bring my breakfast every day: Greek yogurt and a little bit of Kashi Go Lean to stir in, or a couple of waffles that I pop in the toaster, or a packet of oatmeal + a banana, or cold oats soaked in soy milk + fruit.

I buy breakfast once a month, if that?

Lunch - I pack it Mon - Thu for both of us. Fri he eats out so sometimes I do as well, sometimes I pack it. Usually I make something big on Sun that's lunch for the week...if not, then I'll do quick pastas or tortellini, a stir-fry, chili over barley, or occasionally we'll have a week where it's just sandwiches. I pack lunch the night before so we can grab and go (unless I do a big thing on Sunday, then it's all packed Sunday into lunch containers)

There aren't many decent places by DH's job to get food, and I work in midtown where it can get expensive day after day.

I bring all food to work. My grocery bill is high enough I can't afford to eat out plus healthier to bring my own!

I grab a coffee by the train but for food I pack and eat breakfast, lunch and a snack at my desk. It's not gourmet but things are tight right now.

Occasionally I'd treat myself to an iced coffee with an old Starbuck's gift card, but I've used it up.

I bring yogurt or some other breakfast item to work. I rarely bring lunch.

I try to bring with me but I think about 50% of the time I end up buying.
That said - holy moly it ADDS UP FAST when you buy

I eat my breakfast at home (fruit smoothie), but bring my lunch and snacks for the day every day. I'm on WW, so for me I know exactly what I'm eating, how many points it is, etc. But before joining, I wouldn't ever eat breakfast, and would buy lunch every day

Eat breakfast at home before work, go home for lunch.

I used to buy almost every day at my last job.

As a result I ate in an increasingly unhealthful way, couldn’t lose/maintain my weight and spent a SICK amount of money.

I started to fall into the same habit here.

I have gotten MUCH better (having no money does that for you!). I generally eat breakfast at home with the kids and I pack a lunch – usually leftovers or some sort of sandwich, salad or wrap. I pack snacks too – trail mix, hard boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, fruit, veggies, etc..

I’ve managed to maintain my weight better (losing weight is still something of a challenge because I am so friggin’ LAZY and have no desire to exercise before or after work) – and my wallet is MUCH healthier!

But I still eat when work buys and once every two months I'll order in with my colleagues (who LITERALLY order in every single day).

I usually bring breakfast to eat. If I eat breakfast, it's more like brunch.

For lunch - I usually bring leftovers or eat soup.

I bring snacks

If I do my food shopping on the weekends, I always bring breakfast & lunch. If not, I end up buying lunch. I have to go food shopping soon! This week has been bad.. and it's only Wed.

I eat breakfast at home. I bring lunch (and snacks) every single day. It's healthier and cheaper for me.

It depends on the week. But I really do try to go food shopping on Sunday and then pack breakfast and lunch all week. I am forced to eat out when I am traveling, which is a lot, so when I am home prefer home cooked/prepared food. Monetarily it works out close to the same if I buy or bring.

my job pays for my lunch (company card) and we have toooons of snacks in the kitchen. and I do not eat breakfast, only have tea/coffee from the kitchen at work.
I guess I am lucky, as there is no way I would have been able to make myself pack something every night before. I mean, how do I know what I want the next day? and for me the worst thing ever is a bad lunch as it's the highlight of my day LOL

ETA: in terms of healthy choices, I make a concious decision to eat healthy. Soups, lots of salads full of the "good" greens, egg whites, avocados, lots of water thru the day. I do start thinking of what to eat at 11-12 as I come in the morning at 8:30.

My co-workers and I go out for lunch every friday and I usually stop for breakfast once a week.

Other than that I bring both unless I don't have anything to bring or don't have enough time to pack it in the morning.

Generally bring everything. About once per week, I stop at Dunkin Donuts to pick up breakfast, and I probably order or pick up food for lunch twice per month.
