Do you and DH consider yourselves...
to be a "couple" or a "family". We had this discussion at dinner last night. I say couple, he says family, all be it a small one!!
Just curious what others think!
(Obvioulsy if you already have kids that's an easy one...)

I consider us a couple... But I guess I never really thought about it til now... We don't have any children (yet) so that was always the way I referred to us when necessary!

Since we have two little furry kids a/k/a our boys, we are a family. :) I got our old fella when we were dating and we always saw us as a family. Just wish we had a baby... that would make our family complete.

A few months ago during church the priest mentioned something like no matter what the situation is and how big or small, you are a family. Since then we consider ourselves a family.

I actually wanted to start this on NFR a while ago...asking if a childless couple is considered a family
What prompted this is that I had actually asked LIF to consider starting a "Living Child Free" board for people who did not want, or could not have children...since I consider them still to be a family

I agree...we consider ourselves a family, even without a child. And if it remains that way, we will be "Living Child Free".
