Do i really need the snap and go??

I posted in parenting to, but wanted all your opinions....

Just wondering.... Do I really need to register for the Baby trend Snap and Go stroller????

I registered for the Chicco travel sysyem as well as the Chicco C5 lightweight stroller as well....

I'm just wondering when do I us the snap and go compared to the nice stroller that come with the travel system...

Soooooo confusing....

I didn't put it on my registry. I just registered for the Chicco Cortina Travel System and in my opinion, the stroller is so much smaller and more nimble than many of the other ones so I see myself using it all the time. I don't think I will need the Snap and Go.

Re: Do i really need the snap and go??

It was a lifesaver for me in the beginning...its really light, the basket is large, and the infant seat fits perfectly...we did not get a travel system, only a snugride, snap and go, maxi-cosi foray, and peg perego aria, and I did not was to bang up my peg perego early on...for $60 it was worth it to me and I will definitely use it again this pregnancy

I used the snap and go for everything until about 6 months, then I only used it when I was running into a store quickly, otherwise we used the peg or the foray since she hated the snugride pretty early on...

I registered for the Chicco Cortina travel system too and not a snap and go. From what I understand, the Chicco carrier does not snap into the snap and go, you have to tie it down with straps. I didn't think that sounded sturdy enough.

I LOVED mine!! and was really sad when she outgrew the infant carrier. It was so easy to take in and out of the car, great for shopping!!

I didnt register for it but bought it right after when I reaized the Graco travel system was so heavy. I used it for basic shopping and things like that walks I used the travel system nicer wheels. I would def get it..

I'm getting one, mainly bc I hear the other systems are heavy. I figure I don't want to deal w/ anything too heavy/ bulky

DD is 6 months old and I still use it all the time. I have a Combi Cosmo trip stroller, and metrolite. I use this most. It is so easy with the infant carrier.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I USE MINE ALL THE TIME. I'll use the bigger stroller when DS grows out of his infant seat.

I love my snap and go...I couldn't live without it! But I have the graco carseat so I don't know how it works with other companies carseats.

Re: Do i really need the snap and go??

I am registered for it, but I think I would have needed it for the original Graco travel system (the Quattro) that I was registered for.

I'm thinking of taking the snap n go off my registry b/c I changed my stroller system to the Graco Metrolite - I'm not sure I'd need the snap n go.

I love mine!! Especially after having a c-section, it made lifting and moving things around a lot easier than using the whole heavy travel system.

ITA! I didn't have a travel system and once dd was out of the infant carrier I went to the stroller I had picked which was light weight. For me the snap and go was as easy as that and it really was a life saver!

eta: you don't "need it" but it does make things a lot easier. it's really light weight and easy to take in and out of your car.

I agree, it does not snap in, you have to strap it in...and it wasn't sturdy enough for me.

I just got one. I wanted because it won't take up so much room in the trunk.

YES YES YES! I have the chicco too and love it. DS is a few weeks old and the snap n go is GREAT! especially when you are not feeling like yourself yet and dont want to life heavy things. That snap n go is soooo light and simple! CERTAINLY worth it!

If you have a travel system you don't really need it. I got a snap n go at my shower, but I returned it because I just snapped the car seat into my Peg Pliko.

My DD is 7 1/2 months old and I'm still using the snap n go. I love it. But I didn't get a travel system. If you are getting a travel system - then I probably wouldn't get a snap n go.

if you can afford it and have space for it - than YES!

its very comfy!
I don't have one, no space, and have the bugaboo with carseat attachment - but still wish i had space for the snap go.
