I would not rent in the parks. They are very uncomfortable and then you have two strollers and nothing later if you leave at night and she is crashing.
I just rented a double down there. I thought it would be a pain with the buses but it was really fine. Plus it was nice to in crowds esp at rope drop or end of the night to not have my older one getting crushed in crowds.
Could you bring a cheap umbrella for the airport for the baby and rent a citi mini gt down there. Less to carry, and you don't risk your stroller getting broken by the airline.
I'm so confused! Lol. I guess I could but it wasn't a Pain with the double on the buses?
It's really not that bad and the buses have plenty of room. We managed. It was worth it!!

I just came back from Disney with my 4 yr old. He walked the whole time. No stroller need IMO for a 6 yr old

I agree. I think if your 6 year old wants to nap then hold your one year old and let the 6 year old nap in the g luxe. I find that since you have to park your stroller at Disney the kids wind up having to walk most of the time anyway.

Re: Disney stroller question re- 6 year old
We went for my dc's 5th bday. He was beat. He would not have made it without a stroller. I bought a used double maclarean from craigslist for both of my kids to ride in. It was cheaper than renting & I'm not that concerned about being gentile with it. It was light & perfect for my DH to fold up & take on the Disney bus. Maybe look into buying something used & cheaper than renting.
