Sorry-another Disney post- stroller and car seat advice needed for 2.5 year old and 9 month old

We'll be traveling to WDW with our 2.5 year old and then 9 month old in April. I am not sure what to do about strollers and car seats.

For strollers, I think both kids would benefit from the use of strollers. Should I bring our city mini double for both to sit in, 2 umbrella strollers, or car seat/snap n go stroller for baby and umbrella for toddler. I was thinking of bringing the double but then I got concerned where I would put the baby if we went to dinner at night or something and couldn't bring the stroller in.

For car seats, we are staying at the swan so although we can use the Disney transportation to get to the parks, we can't get the magical express from the airport. We're not sure if we should rent a car, or just get a round trip car service. And for either option should we bring our own car seats, or rent car seats?

Just having trouble figuring out all these logistics. Any experience on best stroller and car seat options for 2, would be great!

Get your double stroller and gate check it! In your case I would bring both carseats because bus transportation is not available from airport to WDW. It is a good ride! Not like just 5 minutes. I would use gate check both carseats too.

I am not sure if you should get a car rental or not.

Does your resort have a shuttle to/from airport?

Our last trip DD#1 was almost 3 and DD#2 turned 1. We brought our city mini and couldn't be happier that we did. If you have a car I wouldn't worry about the buses - so I would bring 2 car seats and gate check them. The parks are about a 30 mins drive from the airport.

I liked having a single double stroller esp the city mini because - if one wanted to walk you had hands free when you have 2 strollers it is hard to hold your 2.5 year olds hand and push a stroller this would allow one of you to hold their hand and the other push the stroller. I liked having the city mini because they napped in the stroller. It had a great recline and great sunshade which was very helpful in the sun. The pockets made it easy to throw in snacks or other items. Overall it made it very easy.

I would say if you stay at the swan go for the car rental since you can't use ME. This way you don't have to worry about strollers and the buses, you can come and go as you please. It is very easy.
