Disney Chef Mickey
so- we're going to Disney the end of February, for 3 year old DSs first visit. I want to do Chef Mickey's for our character meal. I wanted it for our first morning there to start off our trip, but the earliest time they had was 8:45 AM. We want to try to get to MK at rope drop (he still takes an afternoon nap, so an earlier start at the park is good I think). so I thought 8:45 might be too late to start breakfast. SO I also put in for Chef Mickey's dinner at 6:15 on the night we get there. Now I can't decide which one to keep Would you start right off with dinner the first night you get there? (our flight gets there at like 11 AM, so we should have plenty of time to get settled in and stuff) OR just do a later breakfast the next morning, and not worry about getting the MK early? Is the food there better for breakfast or dinner?

Re: Disney Chef Mickey
For me, Chef Mickeys is a breakfast place. I would keep the am one and just get there when I get there. I have heard the dinner food is yucky, however, I always enjoy the breakfast. Keep trying, you may get lucky!

For me, I would rather be at MK at rope drop. If your itinerary has the room, I would do Chef Mickeys on a down day, or pool day.
Or do the breakfast at the Crystal Palace with the Pooh characters, then you are already at MK.

Re: Disney Chef Mickey
We did dinner there - it was great - the kids loved it. The food was buffet and not the greatest but, that was my experience with pretty much every character restaurant there honestly. It was a great experience for the kids though! They do a little show and everything!
