Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
If you went during this time, did you dress up?
What did you (adult) go as?

Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
We don't, but lots of adults do! Mostly family groups with Disney characters, some other movie characters, and then the really unique ones like the pack of adults who were a Key to the World card, FASTPASS, map, etc.

Re: Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
When we went DH and I didn't dress up but DD went as tinkerbell. There were some fabulous family costumes. Saw a lot of groups like Snow White, the Prince and 3 drawfs; Peter and wendy, Tinkerbell and the lost boys or captain hook; The incredibles; Pinocchio, Geppetto, and the blue fairy. Family of Pirates - with Jack Sparrow and the Dad. We were really impressed with how amazing some of the families looked. Otherwise there were mostly kids dressed up and I would say the night we went only about 30% of the adults dressed. But the ones who did went all out!

How did your DD do on the rides with wings on? We're going this year and DD wants to wear the Tinkerbell costume she wore last year.

Re: Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
Well she was only 15 months - but the wings she had were attached to her costume not the ones that you add like I think they are these days. They were small and very bendable which I'm not sure that disney makes anymore. I would pick something that doesn't stick out because you will want her to sit back on rides. Although maybe removable ones are the best because she can take them off for the rides and throw them in a backpack and put them back on for parades, photos etc.
She will love it!! DH and I swore that we would take the girls back some day. DD loved it at 15 months I can only imagine how much she would enjoy it now at 5. Maybe in a year or two we will try for a 4 day holiday weekend and go in Sept or Oct just for the party!

Pirates is easy just remember it will be hot so anything you pick try to do something light or you might be uncomfortable. Cinderella is easy - cute choice. You could do the wicked stepmom or fairy god mother too and let yor DH do the pirate.

My thought was the heat too, which is why I liked Jasmin.
I need to incorporate my 2yo too. I figured whatever they are for Disney, they could then be home for Halloween too.

Re: Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
Yes but anything down there will be probably too cold to wear up here. It was in the 90s when we went end of Sept/ beginning of Oct.

I'm in NC so it can be super hot or super cold for Halloween. I just layer them under or a sweater if it's cold.

Re: Disney: Mickey's NSSHP Costumes Question
No, but lots of people do. I just wore a Halloween t-shirt and light up necklace, etc.
FYI no scary stuff is allowed. I saw the Disney Castmembers make some teenager remove his mask because it was too scary for the little ones.
