Does your sonogram look like this, or is it called a perisac hematoma?
If so I had this. At about 5 weeks I had some spotting and the OB office just had me stop exercising and take it easy until my 1st appointment a week later. The sonogram is from 6w3d. You can see the baby in the right sac, but the clot is the left black spot.
We saw and heard the heart beat and the DR said that is a great sign!
We were extremely sad, so my heart goes to you!! My DH must have asked ever OB dr where he works for more opinions and hopefull news!
I had to go to a high risk OB. No exercise, no sex, etc. They said your body will just reabsorb the clot. Finally it did go away and I was able to return to exercising and a regular life.
We are now 16w2d and no problems and no longer high risk.
