At first i wasn't gonna tell ANYONE but DH came home one day and was like OH Owwww i told someone! lol and i couldn't resiist telling my bfffff!

In the beginning we only told our immeadiate families. We've been trying for awhile now so just about everyone knows at this point. Plus we also did an IVF cycle and with all the doctors appointments and everything it would have been nearly impossible to keep it a secret.

well.... everyone pretty much knew i was pregnant... and then after the mc... i think people knew we were trying again.

I never had to think about telling them if we were TTC. After the mc they figured as much and asked... so we said yes.

No. We don't plan to tell anyone.

It will be hard enough dealing with the anxiety of awaiting a BFP, if I had my family and friends breathing down my neck for an update, I would lose it.

Nope!! I don't plan on telling anyone. I have a fake name on here for this reason, also!!

I won't open my mouth until I'm 3 months pregnant about anything!

I plan to tell one friend, and told another friend a really broad timeline, but plan to keep it a secret from everyone else until 2nd tri. lets see if that actually happens

I tell everyone. For some reason I don't feel that it is something that has to be shrouded in secrecy. I feel the same way about being pregnant too, I told my close friends immediately and everyone else at 9weeks. If god forbid I had a MC I would want and need their support. It's the same thing with TTC, each month that passes my friends give me encouragement to keep at it.

We did tell our close friends at first and after a few months my family. I kind of regret telling people though b/c some of the friends/family I told, told other people who we aren't close with which kind of makes me uncomfortable. Also I hate being asked how everything is going. It makes me more stressed and depressed. I think it varies from person to person but if I could go back 8 months, I would chose to tell only 1 or 2 very close friends and ask them not to share with others.

my mom and my girlfriends..when everyone else asks, i just turn it into a joke...as for DH, i just got him to stop saying "no, we are going to wait for a bit"

I only told another married couple who is also trying to have a baby and i told 2 of my coworkers.

Nope! Just you ladies and my Mom. When others ask, which I think is so rude, I just smile and say DH and I are "having fun practicing."

well we arent trying yet....i tell people when we might try if it comes up in conversation - i always say "maybe we'll try in xyz" and leave it open ended...b/c honestly i'm not sure when i'll come off the pill and when we'll start trying to conceive...i think before the year ends, that is our plan, but last year we thought we would have started trying this summer and the plan changed - so who knows?

i do know that when we are trying i'm not going to say anything to anyone...i might hint to it but i don't want to flat out tell anyone b/c if it doesn't happen right away i don't want anyone asking any questions...and if it does happen it will be more of a surprise when we do tell our families - i don't want them to expect it or be waiting, i rather just surprise them with the good news...(although we are married almost 2 years so i am sure people are wondering what we are waiting for )

I really didn't want to tell anyone but everyone is so up our a$s about it that we told them we are, but were not making it a MUST happen type of thing

At first, we didn't tell anyone. The longer time went on, the more people that we told because I was tired of keeping it a secret and people making baby comments. I gave up on just shrugging it off because it was upsetting me, so I privately told them we were having trouble. The baby comments stopped after that.

Previous time we told no one. I just didn't want to deal with questions, etc.
