We are not huge gift givers for mothers/fathers day.
He is going golfing thursday and I bought him a fishing groupon for him and a friend to go fishing.

I bought DH a piece of work out equipment that he wanted. "From" our 4.5 month old DS he got a picture frame with the 2 of them in it, a willow tree dad figurine, a special daddy book for bedtime stories and a #1 dad t-shirt. DH was very good to me for mothers day, and is a great dad so i wanted to reciprocate.I can't imagine it will be like this every year. i renewed his subscription to the NFL ticket on Direct TV.

and some book he wanted from amazon.

We usually keep it small for these holidays, but he looooves his NFL games but was thinking of not paying for the subscription.

I bought him 3 pairs of shorts and new sandals because his looked like crap! He really didn't want me to buy anything at all because we don't have money. Didn't even get him cards because by the time I actually went ahead and did it, it was Saturday and everything good was gone.

DS made him stuff at daycare including an adorable picture frame/magnet. That made him happy. I was happy too because I got to eat the candy DH didn't like that also came with it.

I did a little photo shoot with DD and filled the daddy frames he got last year that we never filled. I just took the pics myself but they came out great.

I also got him a gift certificate for some building supply site which he asked for and what I thought was a new buzzer but turned out to be just a little facial hair trimmer so that was a bust.

Got him personalized shirt... and I ordered mothers day from him personalized s hirt and plaque... otherwise I'd tellhim what to get me.

I got him a video camera and about a month ago I got him hockey playoff tickets and called it an early Father's Day Gift. It was his first Father's Day, I won't be spending that much in the future.

Every year I get him a shirt that says "Best Dad Hands down" and put all of the kids handprints on it. This year since they're getting older I also did a video interview w/them and asked them questions about their Daddy.
