I'm 21 weeks and the only appt. he went to was the level 2 at 20weeks. He has a crazy work and school schedule.

He goes to all of them, unless the doctor wants me to come a day that he has to work. Mondays are the only day my DH can make.

his work schedule is hard too. So far he has only missed 1 office visit. I try hard to get appointments when he is home.

He doesn't come to my monthly appts, where they just do weight, blood pressure, etc. But he has been at every sonogram - and I've had 5!
Towards the end, he will probably come to most of my regular appts.

only first, 12 week and Level II.
Now.. he can't cause he is always at work. and Dr. doesn't work on weekends.

with DD#1 he had more of a flex schedule and came to the sonograms...
Now he can't come b/c of his work schedule but it's ok...
Most of the appts they just listen to the HB and weigh me, blah blah...boring, in and out of the office quick type appts...

No he doesn't--my doctor only has appointments during work hours, and we wanted him to save his time. He went to the ultrasounds (11 weeks and 20) and to see the genetic counselor.
Although this past week he did go with me--now that the big day is coming closer, he wanted to meet my doctor.

Every single one...i have to make the appts around his schedule since he doesn't want to miss anything! Thank goodness the office is accomodating..

When we were still at the RE he came to each and every appointment that involved more than drawing blood to measure beta levels. Since then he has been to the ultrascreen, Level II, amnio and a few others.

So far he has been to every appointment (I'm only 12wks but I've had 5 so far). I don't mind if he skips the check ups going forward but I go straight from work in the city so no matter what he has to meet me to bring me home.

Just the important ones 12, 20 and he's coming to my 36 week appt tomorrow.
They are so uneventful and quick (they weigh me, take my bp, listen to the heartbeat and ask if Ihave any questions) I don't want him to waste a half day of work to come everytime.

my dh has been to every dr appt except one and didn't come to my 12 week ultrascreen.
the dr appt he missed was the one where we heard the hb for the first time. now he comes to every one.

Mine came to every single one. I asked him if he would do the same with our 2nd he said yes.
I think it's great because he has learned so much and he so much a better listener than I am. I'm always asking him what the dr said about this or that. I seem to forget quickly but he remembers every little thing

DH only came to my first sonogram. He couldn't go to my second one because his company was bought out and he just started in the new office. Things were shaky for a bit so he didn't want to push his luck...although since then his supervisor told him that he could take off for things like that so now he will, but I think I only have one more sono to go.

he goes to all of the sonos and went to the dr. appts in the beginning, but when we saw that they don't really tell you much/do much during the dr. appts, I told him he doesn't have to come.
