Deannas plan
i know i am on a roll right now.
i am thinking of doing this for next cycle.
anyone else doing it, whats your thoughts on it?

As you are trying, make sure to "release" the sperm in your partner at least once during the gap between ovulation and new cycle Day 8 so that no more than 10 days elapse without new sperm production. Sperm is also a cause of genetic damage, not just eggs, so keep it fresh! If you are not successful the first month, it is not because your sperm did not get to your egg. 75% of eggs are lost within the first 14 days due to normal genetic damage or failure to fertilize. Just keep trying!
does this mean that we cant go more than 10 days without or dh you know helping himself out

yes it does!
but for us... I O around CD 18 to CD 20 so it's really not an issue.
We are doing Deanna's plan this cycle. But it's really hard to keep up with. Somehow life gets in the way. In true sh!t on me fashion we happened to miss out on the days leading up to O... but hit it on the peak days. So all in all this cycle probably won't be much different from all the other ones. If this cycle doesn't work we are doing Deanna's plan next cycle too. If that doesn't work then to the RE for further testing it is!!
I also use the CBEFM, OPK's and preseed.

he was actually more on point with it than I was and wanted to on the "off" days too.
Next cycle I'm not making ANY plans on days. And there will be few plans inbetween those days too. We are going to hole ourselves up in our home. My mom came over one night for dinner and left so late that DH went to sleep before she was gone!  So I learned my lesson.... NO PLANS while on DEANNA'S PLAN!!!

We used this plan for DD and it worked our 2nd month trying. This time around we are going on our 3rd month trying and we skipped a day which in my opinion was "the day" lol but back to the plan this month!

yeah kerri i can see how it is tough - i babysit on monday nights and dont get home till 11:30 12 and monday would be a so i will have to try to wake him up
back to the 10 day thing - me and dh havent in more than 10 days so should i have him take care of himself tonight so by cd 8 we are good?

i told him to take care of himself in the shower an i will make sure he "refreshes" himself if it has been more than 10 days! Thanks!

HAA I did my own version of Deanna's plan-haaa I did the turbo edition
Worked for us!! I put down the days we on that thread titled "Advice for TTCers from those of us with BFP's"
Good luck and have fun!!
And PS-you deserve to treat yourself to some cocktails this weekend
