another deannas plan question
Do you think its necessary to BD on the even days leading up to your +opk? I'm asking b/c I usually get my +opk on cd 14 and O on/around CD 15. My monthlycycles says that my most fertile days are cd's 12,13,14,15,16, so we were going to bd on cd 9, 11, 13,14,15, 16. What do you think? I'm sorry, I just overthink everything.

I think so, i think by following every other day and then the straight days at the end you are covering all your bases
personally, i dont start so early - i feel like its WAY to early and what happened last month is we kind of gave up before the end LOL

I think you are covinger your bases...I started on CD 10...did 10, 12, got a smiley on 13 so did 13,14,15 skipped 16 and did 17....so I thihnk you are good

The problem I have with this statement is that I would have agreed completely and actually didn't start to test until CD12 b/c I usually don't O until CD18 and I can't afford to waste the tests, but for some reason...this month I tested for the 1st time on CD12 and got my smiley (+OPK) and we BD on CD9 only thinking I had plenty of time...now I wonder if I missed my window. You don't O at the same time every month...just FYI.

I feel like I was like you...last month it just became TOO much for me and DH started every other day on CD8...but then every little twinge I thought I was Oing so it got very overwhelming for us...we kind of gave up too..
So this month I started OPK's (never wanted to) but I found it to be Sooooo less stressful! At least I knew when it was time...and actually it was earlier than I thought! It took the guess work out and we both felt much more relaxed this month i think

i have to admit i was VERY anti OPK, i could never understand why people couldnt just do it "the natural way" LOL but I think i have to next month - just to make it less stressful - thanks!

I was TOTALLY that way too! I never wanted to do it...I felt women have been getting pregnant for years with out them! but sometimes you have t oman up and take charge.. I mean its' obviously up to you, but I was much happier this month by using them.
