Brought it cookies for the boy's teachers. THere are way too many of them. LOL!
I love them all so got nice platters for the teachers for each boy's class.

I usually do cookies or an Edible Arrangement on Friday but I'm the only one in the center that seems to do something. And they have over 100 kids there.

This whole week is Educator Appreciation week. I am sending my kids with plants and cards that say "Thank you for helping me grow!"

Crashing but I wanted to say how sweet it is that you parents are for acknowledging daycare teachers. I used to be a daycare teacher for 3 years and I don't remember ever being acknowledged during Teacher Appreciation Day/Week. I even had a parent once refer to me as just the person who watches their kid during the day.
So on behalf of daycare teachers former, current, or future.... thanks!

"Just the person that watches their kid"?? WOW. How insulting that that was said about you!! Daycare teachers do so much...my sister is one, and I see the time, patience and love she puts into those kids. Daycare teachers are SO MUCH MORE than that. They should make big $$ for what they do!!

im apparently ahead b/c LAST WEEK i brought in a card and cookies for the staff. My FB friends who are teachers were saying it was last week. I had no idea it was this week. OOPPS. so they got their treat early last week..lol.

That's horrible! I love DDs daycare teachers! I can't imagine having that mentality towards the people who are helping to shape my DD when I'm not with her. I'm sorry you had to experience that.
The plant idea is REALLY cute!

Hope you don't mind but I'm going to steal your line.
I am planning to go to DS's preschool tomorrow. I was planning to make this hand print flower for mother's day. I just printed out templates for Teacher Appreciation Day as well as Mother's Day. I'm going to handwrite, "Thank you for helping me grow" on their cardstock.
The class will make two cards tomorrow - one for the teacher and one for their mothers.

An apology?
I was out sick yesterday so today (the day of) I have nothing. I know bad planning... but I've been super busy with AJ's international festival preps (I'm helping the teacher). Sewing Dragon parts together for the two Chinese dragons. etc.
I feel bad.
Last year I made all the teachers individual pies but I was so beat this weekend from digging out our new porch (in prep for base) and then this allergy attack took what was left of me.
I feel sooo bad 
Guess I'll have to make it up later somehow. Maybe next week I'll buy them some baked goods.
