This whole week is Educator Appreciation week. I am sending my kids with plants and cards that say "Thank you for helping me grow!"

I'm just curious how everyone knew about this?
Was it posted in the daycare?
Because I had no clue.
It's not on my calendar.
My school didn't post it.
So how was I supposed to know about this?
I am a teacher... that's the only reason I know. My school buys bagels for us.
I think the last two years I was one of the few that brought something in.

its on my Chic-Fil-A Calendar hahaha
That and I'm on the PTA, we notified all parents via newsletter and a flyer on the front desk/check in area.

I give them sporadically throughout the year here and there especially when one or two in particular go out of their way for me or the boys -

I didn't know about it until one of my girlfriend's posted this idea on FB and a reminder to not forget your special teachers this week and I was like holy cow ooops ~ so we are getting the stuff today and making it and bringing in tomorrow or Friday. (so far I have not seen anyone in my son's school do anything as of yet)
