8 am when I got up from sleeping on my parents hard couch. My husband was in the other room sleeping on the second couch and I was so excited I got to scream that my water broke, lol. I'd been having back labor for a few days priior without realizing it. Thanks super storm sandy!

mine never broke with either boys. Contractions started first and when I was 8 and 9 cm's... the doctor broke my water then.

7:40 am. I went to stand up out of bed and pop went my water. I thought I had peed myself and told dh not to call out from work lol!

Trickle started at 12:30am. Never a gush. ever actually. Went pee then it sorta felt like i was still going a tiny bit. I went again but I realized *I* didnt have to go. Called it in they said come in so I went to the bathroom ONE MORE TIME (per advice from these boards) to 'take care of business'. Still never more than a trickle. Sat on towels to the hospital just in case.
She was born at 9:55 via C/S never felt or heard a 'gush' of any type. I just trickled forever. LOL

Same here. I labored at home for over 12 hrs, was 5cm and it still hadn't broken. Dr broke it at 8cm a few hours after I got to the hospital.

Crashing- water breaking
I didnt even know mine broke. I went to the bathroom and thought I was leaking. I put my hand there and there was a drop of clear, odorless liquid. Literally looked like water. Did it again and nothing. It just felt like dripping. Turns out it was my water and was induced 21 hours later when complaining of stomach pains

Mine broke around 12 midnight. I was in bed tossing an turning and felt what i thought was discharge. When I got up to go to the bathroom I realized it was my water breaking.

4:15am! I was awake and rolled over and felt warmth. I stood up and it gushed.
I had gone to the bathroom about an hour before and am pretty sure lost my mucus plug.

My water broke with all 3 of mine.
DD#1 at 8:30am as I got out of my car to walk into work
DD#2 at 12:30am...woke up to a major contraction and it broke as I stood up.
DS at 4:30am...my daughter woke me up and I felt odd, so I sat down at the computer and it broke.
ETA it was a major gush with all 3. No question at all what it was. My 1st was born 7 hours after it broke, my second 3 hours after, and my son was less than 2 hours. I felt absolutely nothing before it broke. No contractions or anything.

My first 3 babies were popped by the doctor while in labor at 6-9 centimeters. My 4th baby was a few days past my due date. I was actually at a check up half naked sitting on the exam table waiting for the doctor to come in and check me when it broke. All the nurses and staff came rushing in when I poked my head out asking for help

Mine broke for 2 out of 3 kids to start the labor. I was so worried about it happening on the LIRR....Luckily both times it waited until I was home and relaxed.
DS#1 - after work and LIRR train ride, came home had dinner as I sat to write out shower thanks you cards...last day of my 36th week (maybe around 9pm). I sneezed or coughed and something trickled out, went to bathroom and a little more came out...wasn't 100% it was my water breaking...eventually went back to the toilet and had a slight larger gush and then it kept trickling until I got to hospital and had a exam - which caused the big gush/
#2 didn't break until I was almost 9cm.
#3 - after a very hard and long day as SAHM, mid 38th week and huse under major construction. Had big flood in my house which I had to clean up on my own....as soon as I finally relaxed and laid down in bed (say 11pm ish) - had weird, unusual pains and then some trickles. No big gushes until hospital again.

I woke up at 2am to pee and as I was getting back into bed I heard a pop and gush. Weird as it sounds I just knew it was going to happen that way.
