Copay and SA ?

Did your DH have to pay a copay when he dropped off his sample?

I left a message at my REs office to check if we have to. Just wondering if anyone else had to and what ins do you have.

DH did not have to pay his co-pay. He has Oxford HMO.

Our was dropped off to the andrology lab at stony brook hospital.
I dropped the sample off for DH b/c he had work- then while they were processing it (it has to be there w/in an hour of producing it) they sent me down to billing and ran my insurance. I didn't give them any $$$- they said I'd get a bill from the hospital and sure enough I did.
I have empire blue cross blue shield direct POS. HTH!

We have Cigna & didn't have to give the copay when we dropped it off at the Andrology lab at NSUH. We got a bill later on stating it was covered.

Thanks ladies.

The receptionist called me back, she seemed very confused but said that we had to pay a co pay to drop off his sample. I guess we will know for sure next saturday.

We had 3 done so far and there is no copay.
