I looooooooove to cook!
the only things i enjoy baking is my pumpkin bread (yummm!), pumpkin cheesecake, occasional christmas cookies, and an occasional boxed cake!

Me!! I like the freedom and creativity with cooking. You don'y have to follow a recipe and can experiment more. I feel like with baking measuring and recipes are more important.

i HATE cooking, it is precise and I never seem to have the right ingredients so it always comes out wrong. And you have to stand there over the stove stirring and sauteeing and it's hot and boring. And SO difficult. I don;t have those kinds of skills.
Baking really isn't as precise, the ingredients are always basic and straightforward. You can take one cookie dough and make thousands of types of cookies with it. It's quick to mix stuff up (though it can take forever for the baking part). It's love and memories.
I cook because I have to - I bake because I love to.
