Re: Confused about ovulation
I would say no. Most people have a luteal phase of 10-14 days...even people with short ones have more than 2 days from ovulation to AF. Sometimes you can have spotting from the actual ovulation...which maybe could be confused with a period? Even implantation spotting mostly occurs at least 5-6 days after ovulation.

Well, I really havent but FF says I ovulated CD22 and Im currently on CD25 and I was/am suppose to get AF possibly by Friday if I do in fact have a 28 days cycle this month. This is the first cycle that FF said I ovulated so late. I know AF (if she comes) may come sometime next week now if I really did O on CD22 but I feel like shes coming....I honestly thought I O on CD15 which makes more sense to me but FF disagrees with that..

Re: Confused about ovulation
What is FF using to determine your o date? OPK, temping, or just previous cycle length??

Re: Confused about ovulation
It's impossible. It doesn't matter what your previous cycles were like; if you O'ed on CD22, the earliest you can expect af is CD32. if your cycles are normally 28 days, it's because you must normally O on Day 14 or 15. You didn't this cycle, so AF will be later.
Unless of course FF is wrong and you O'ed when you think you did. In which case you can expect AF any time.
But to answer your question, no, it's impossible to O and then get AF 2 days later.

Re: Confused about ovulation
Could your cycle possibly be off this month? You just came off of BCP, right? Your body probably needs time to adjust, I have been off BCP for 6 months now, and my cycles still aren't regular. I am thinking that your cycles are adjusting and you can't go by what happened while you were on the pill or before.

Ok, so basically, if I get AF when I was expecting to get her then that means I didnt O on CD22 like FF said right? If I dont get her until next week then FF was correct, right?

Its been about 3mths that Ive been off but each cycle has been reg. I got AF as scheduled my first month off BCP and the two months following that...and before BCP Ive always been reg. I know that means nothing but the 3mths that I have been off AF has come as predicted. I suppose anything is possible though, its very possibly that this month is just screwy.

It is definitely possible for it to be screwy this month. I feel like my cycles were regular for a month or two after BCP, but then got weird...like my body still thought it was on BCP or something??
I wish that all of our cycles were perfect and we didn't have any questions about when we O...hope you either get your BFP or AF so you can straighten this month out!

Its just so freaking frustrating. Like you said, either BFP or AF...I just want to know whats going on. Obviously a BFP would be better

Re: Confused about ovulation
ok if you Oed 2 days ago, YOU WILL NOT GET AF ON TIME.
if you O late, you will get AF late. so if you are temping accurately and have seen a legitimate temp rise over the last few days, do not expect AF to arrive "on time." instead you will either get AF 10-14 days from when you actually ovulated, or you will get a BFP around them too. but dont test or expect AF this week if you just ovulated.
AF and your "normal" cycle length are irrelevant when you O later than normal.
good luck!

I can't go by those sites because my cycles are all over the place. I rely on the OPK tests to help me predict when I will O
