Commuting sucks
I sat in a 2 seater and a guy squeezed himself in next to me. I usually don't care but I'm crampy and uncomfortable and he is annoying me. I just want to elbow him but I won't because that would be crazy. Yay hormones.

Commuting sucks
I have so much LESS tolerance for people while pregnant. I couldn't even imagine commuting with people. As it is I wake up to go to the supermartket at 8AM as to not deal with people.

Commuting sucks
I hated communting. Everyone smelled and I would want to throw up!
A co-worker gave be great advice thought for communting - Always have plastic bags with you!!!!!!!! She had horrible MS and would always be prepared. And because of her I was too.!!!! I had them stashed everywhere. And yes I used them.

Re: Commuting sucks
ugh commuting is the worst! i normally drive to work but last week I had a meeting in the city so i had to take the subway. I am only 16 weeks but decided to wear a fitted shirt in hopes that someone recognized that I was pregnant and would offer me a seat but no such luck (im at the point where i just look fat i guess). the moving around on the subway while standing, all the smells, etc eekkk i got so nauseous. i dont know how you ladies do it on a daily basis

Re: Commuting sucks
Consider it your nap time ....... I would literally sit down, put on my sunglasses and pass out immediately - that way whoever sat next to me, or whatever was going on - loud cell phone idiots, loud kids, annoying groups of BFFs, old ladies coming back from the matinee .......whatever, I was out cold !!

You could be 9 months PG with your belly in a riders face and they will not get up for you on the subway. I took 2 subways each way when I was PG and only once did a woman get up and offer me her seat.
Unless you ask you almost never get a seat.

Commuting sucks
It never gets easier either. Some days are more bearable than others, but I find myself getting really pissed off about having such a long commute most days now. Especially when I'm on the subway. I actually was offered a seat the other day,but I think it was my super angry face that convinced the woman to get up, not my obviously pregnant belly.
