Comments on Christmas Babies

They use to tell me the same things. It was so annoying. My little was born Dec 17 and both days are very different for her. People just love to comment when you're pregnant. They should just put a sock on it. And God forbid if you say anything, they will use the hormonal &itch theory.

It really is a lot of fun! She gets gifts twice a year this way and she loves it! When people ask when to give her gifts I say it doesn't matter, but I do ask that they at least call or send a card for her actual birthday. My brother normally gives her gifts for her 1/2 bday and gets her a bouquet of balloons for her actual birthday

My family has had the opposite reaction to me being due in December (12/15). EVERYONE has said, "Maybe you'll be late and will have a Christmas baby! How awesome!" While I'm glad that my family thinks a Christmas baby would be lovely, why are they all wishing that I'm 1.5 weeks late?! That's just mean.

the baby could always come early or late anyways....... my son came 4 weeks early....
BIL has a January birthday.......anything he couldn't get at Christmas he then might get at his birthday...... its kinda cool to get so much.
