Closing in one month... packing???
So just signed our contract we'll probably close in one month. Should I start packing? And if so were should I start???

yes i would start gathering boxes and putting things in it that you do not really use every day, it makes it a lot easier later on (or so i found)

Definitely start packing!
I would start with things you won't need between now and closing -- out of season clothes, fine china, books, etc.

I just started packing this weekend, and purging..things that I will def not be bringing with me...we're hopefully closing mid October!!

we're closing 10/12 and haven't even mentioned packing. honestly i think our cats would go bezerk.
i'd say it depends on your situtation. do you have to be out of your current place immediately?
we live in an apt in MIL's house, and are having work done to our house before we move in, so it's not a rush for us. plus the house is about 10 blocks away, so we can always just throw crap in the car and drive it over if we want

I'm awaiting a closing date (hopefully sometime next week so I don't have to pay to keep my rate lock !!) and haven't started packing yet !! I'm also 29 weeks pregnant and starting to move slower then usual - so packing / moving should be FUN !!
I regret waiting - I would do and the other poster daid and start to pack things that you don't really use first. I'm going to start this weekend !!
