We Christened Emma 2 weeks ago - She's 7 months old.
The hardest part was finding a dress that fit.

oh geez..didnt even think of that - it might be hard to find a dress to fit her at that age. where did you guys get them if you did it later on?

My DD is big -- 21.4 lbs and 29" long, 9 months old. We didn't have a hard time finding a dress. We got hers at Charlotte's Kids in Massapequa and it was a size Large, the company who makes the dresses only makes small/large. It fit her fine, was even a little big. There were a lot of places that had dresses available in her size, this was just the one we decided on.

ALso if you go to websites they all have dresses in bigger sizes. My favorite website is onesmallchild.com for christening outfits.

Ryan will have his on 7/23 which is 1 day shy of 6 months. I never wanted to wait that long but all of our family had other things going on every other weekend in the summer.
