Chimney

Anyone ever get their chimney relined, if so how much? We were told our chimney is falling apart and needs to be relined.

Re: Chimney

Dont know where you are.....I would highly rec my chimney guy.

We did have ours relined but we were warned that MANY chimney guys lie about needing one, and also, many put in crappy liners.

Mine cost 1500ish and I DEF needed one.

Re: Chimney

Yeah we were just supposed to have ours cleaned and the guys freaked DH out by saying the chimney is falling apart and pipes are rotting etc....

If you are in Nassau can you please FM me who you used?

We were quoted $1200 by the guys that were there....

Re: Chimney

I would def. get a second opinion first - sooo many chimney companies seem to be so shady. We just had someone here from Best Way Chimney and they were nice and seemed very honest. In fact, I had them check my chimney, he said it was clean and there'd be no charge!Chat Icon

We used smokey chimney (Nassau cty) a few years back and had the top portion of our chimney rebuilt (it was falling apart), had it lined, new cap (lifetime warranty) and I think we pad $1600 for the whole thing. I highly reco them!

Re: Chimney

best way in levittown...i don't trust most chimney guys but I did with these guys. my oil burner cleaning guy told me that there was a problem b/c the air flow wasn't right. i knew I had a true problem.
