I think it's cruel because she's a regular person living her life. IMO it's like taking a picture of someone off the street and saying how ugly they are. At least a regular celeb signs up to be public, puts themselves out there. And is marketed as "attractive" when they don't have 2 brain cells to rub together. This is an intelligent woman, currently pregnant, who is only being posted here because her parents are politicians. If you want to continue your fun bashing how normal people look, I doubt I'm gonna be the one that stops you, so carry on.
All that being said, she's still an unattractive girl IMO.
Everyone is entitled to have an opinion on what they deem to be attractive.
It's cruel to tell someone they are ugly to their face, it's NOT cruel to make a passing comment about a picture of someone on a celebrity board of a newsgroup.

As far as lighten up it's the way these post are coming across. It's not like it was posted I disagree I think she is pretty. It was almost like wth is wrong with you to think or say she is ugly.

 I do agree with you but you're making too much sense for this celebrity board. People come on here to praise and bash people in the public eye, regardless of how they got there. Now if she gets a good plastic surgeon to look like a "natural beauty" the very next day people would be praising her beauty. Just a board for fun, although it does seem it fun for some people to be mean and harsh when making comments.

I totally get making fun of bad plastic surgery, a horrible dye job, an ill-fitting outfit, or really terrible acting.
But to attack someone's looks? The way they were born? What exactly is the point of that cruelty?
I know she is never going to come on here and say "Oh no a bunch of LIFers are making fun of me" and go into a deep depression... but for those of you making fun of her looks, WHY? Does it make you feel better about yourself? To put someone's looks down like that? Are you all so gorgeous you can afford to cast those stones?

HELL YEAH!! I'm hot, I would've been a supermodel if it wasn't for the height issues!!
In all fairness no one made fun or her looks they just said she wasn't attractive. Maybe it's brutal honesty of we felt but no one made fun of her. Saying she looks like a donkeys @ss, I think would be making fun of her.
And yes maybe some comment are harsh and mean on this board but they can be funny and make laugh. So I guess I'm a disgusting human being but I love comedy and snide the remarks. A lot of the ladies are very witty.

Sorry but this is way too much hypersensitivity for me. Holy $hit people...........this isn't real life. We aren't making fun of each other, we are commenting on random pictures in a news forum. Who cares what is said.

Definitely not offended, just surprised that people think it's ok to make comments like that. That's all. I am not going back and forth (well after this I'm not  ) but I stand by my opinion that it's a low blow to make fun of someone's physical appearance. If it makes you happy to do that, knock yourself out.

Maybe not the best picture, but she looks pretty good. I think it is her nose that looks really wide from this angle. If you cover her nose, she actually looks very pretty, lol.

I think this is a great statement on what value people actually place on looks. Some people hit the genetic lottery, some, dont. However this woman and her Mother are extremely smart and capable and that means a lot more than a pretty face. I hope none of you have an ugly daughter. What would you tell her????

It's ok to talk bad about a recovering addict like Lindsay or Fergie but we cant state the obvious that this chick is not pretty??

I'm sure we ALL have friends, family, co-workers, and other people we know IRL that we do NOT find attractive.
Looks are NOT everything but finding someone attractive or not is human nature. Attraction is real, that's science. Please don't pretend like you think every single person you know or meet is attractive, beautiful, gorgeous, etc. That is so ridiculous and so NOT true.
The difference is IRL we have the common sense, manners, and social etiquette to keep our opinions to ourselves...........as you should. But on a newsgroup with pictures of people that are literally NOTHING to anyone IRL you can state your true opinion on their looks, outfit, haircut, etc. because there is no consequence of doing so.
This is NOT real life, lighten up. What exactly do you think the point of this board is? To always be sweet and nice and compliment every picture of every person posted????? C'mon.
I think some of you need to stop confusing a random comment someone makes about a person none of us know with the type of people we are IRL. One has NOTHING to do with the other. It's so unnecessary to constantly correct anyone on here by telling them they are "too harsh" or "so mean" because ultimately, IT IS A PICTURE they are commenting on, not a real person we all know. There is a HUGE difference.
