Checking in from Yale New Haven PICU
WOW the response and prayers have been overwhelming.... than you all so much...
Alexa is a trooper and a fighter... we are still in the ICU getting oxygen via a mask... so far it looks like as long as she doesn't get worse they shouldn't have to intubate her and put her on a vent....
She's touch and go... good one minute really bad and scary the next.....
Tonight will be the test... kids tend to be the worst with respiratory issues at night...
She hasn't slept in 24 hours and is starting to get cranky.... my DH has been a rock... here the whole time.. he went out earlier and picked up a pizza and bottle of wine  
I've eaten and had half a glass of wine and am MUCH calmer now....
The staff at Yale has been AMAZING.... seriously... as a former healthcare worker they have gone above and beyond my expectations...
Thank you all for the well wishes and support... It means more than you know really....... Hug your little ones tight tonight its amazing how an experience like this makes you appreciate the miracle of life so much
I will keep Lupe, Bonitachyc, up to date as much as I can.....

how is her post ox number?
if josh was in upper 80s the most at night he ever dropped was 2 below that.
i hope she gets better asap!

I've been so worried about Alexa all day! Lots of good thoughts that she has a good night and lots of hugs to you and your DH. I cant imagine how exhausted you all must be!
