Tired New Mommy Checking In
Jeez, I didnt realize it would be so tiring, I kept thinking, once she is born, I will be able to relax a little, I didnt count on being exhausted b/c she is sleeping all day and up at least 4x's at night. Luckily, we are staying with my parents until the house is done, and my mom graciously made DH and I go to bed early and she stayed with Taylor all night. She is only 10 days old and I know it will get better, but DH passed a kidney stone early yesterday morning and I didnt want to make him do anything, but jeez, my mom might have saved our lives last night b/c I dont think I could have gotten through another sleepless night

It will get better... It feels like the first 6 weeks you run on fumes. Definitely take all the help that you get. I was so thankful when my mom came for 2 weeks.

Now you know why all those annoying people kept telling you to enjoy your rest while you could heheh. Sounds like you have a great mom, hope you are feeling better soon.

Yes, it is tiring. It will get better.
It helps that you have a support system. I don't know what I would do without my mom

It does get better, but I still nap when she does. She's 9 months old.
