Character Themed Eggs
My toddler is obsessed with these YouTube videos of people opening eggs with little toys inside of them or character themed chocolate eggs with toys inside, lol. Anyone know where I can get something like this? I looked on Amazon and the prices are ridiculous. She would flip if she had some in her Easter basket. I've only seen plastic eggs with tattoos inside or yucky warhead candy. Not interested in either of those. TIA!!

My kids would watch those videos ALL DAY if i let them lol. I've been on a hunt also. FIVE BELOW has the chocolate eggs with toys inside! they only have hello kitty or spiderman. I'm OOS but i'm sure every five below probably has this item right now.

I cant wrap my head around any kid sitting there enjoying watching these videos   I googled them after hearing people talk about it I am glad my kid doesn't know about it.
from some of the ones I saw they were just plastic eggs or shapes of character which had a toy on it. I think you can create those your selves I have seen character "eggs" at target
I read on a group that this place carries the kinder ones
Salpino on Newbridge Road
and some suggest to check smaller shops cause they seem to carry them.

Kinder surprise eggs. They are hard to find. People are mostly finding them at small mom and pop convenience stores.

OMG...I'm on the hunt for these eggs too!!! My daughter is obsessed she's been watching the egg suprise videos for over a year now.

My daughter is obsessed. I ended up ordering some from ebay but they were not cheap. They came out to like $4/egg. 
ETA: I got Frozen and Disney Princess eggs

Character Themed Eggs
My dd has been obsessed with these videos too. She shouts and cheers every time a new egg is opened and runs to me to tell me what toy was inside I made my own surprise eggs for her for this Easter. We found some little toys that are small enough to fit in the larger plastic eggs, like Daniel Tiger figures, lalaloopsy ponies, little race cars, Minnie Mouse nail polish...small things like that, all from toys r us. If I have time I might check the dollar bins at michaels and target too.

Kinder Surprise Eggs are banned in the US so I am surprised any store has them at all. I know when I travel back and forth to Europe I stock up for friends and family.

i heard cause of chocking hazard but I thought I read somewhere they lifted the ban.
ETA: ok they are still banned it seems but some company found away around it surprise eggs

Also, Disney Collector on Youtube earned 5 Million dollars last year because of her videos I guess from the ads...insane!

I thought my ds was the only one obsessed with these videos. I think I'm gonna make my own "surprise eggs" & put them in his basket. Put character stickers on the outside of the egg & then put something related to the character on the inside. He's only 3 yrs old so maybe he'll be fooled & think they are the real thing.

Omg my girls are obsessed with these dumb videos too. I had no idea what they were taking about for days because we had hung out with friends with older kids who showed them the egg videos. I had to call up my friend to find out what the heck they were taking about. Anyway, I just filled eggs with small toys. I didn't even know you could buy the eggs like that.

It's a phenomenon called unboxing and my kids are obsessed, too!

I'm so glad my dd isn't the only one obsessed with watching YouTube videos of egg openings lol its not exactly the same but my dd likes the my little pony fashums, they are little plastic squshy ponies, they also have them in ninja turtles, planes, Minecraft.
