IM SOOOOOO MAD!! Im not a big personal fan of Annie Duke BUT..you've got to give her credit...she was THE BEST business person on that show!!! There is NO REASON for Joan to have won!!! "STAMINA" That's not what the show is about!!!! If it were about Stamina..tell them to run on a treadmill and see who lasts longer!!
And WHY WHY WHY...did they let Joan get away with calling Annie a Liar about the Event Planners!!!! ANNIE WAS RIGHT!! Joan is the reason why they quit!!!! How did the audience NOT see that either!!!
OK Im done venting for now!! As you can see Im very passionate about this...not sure why!! I think I need a more exciting life!!!

I think Joan deserved it more than Annie Duke. Joan always kept it about her charity which is REALLY what the celebrity apprentice is about. Annie was too focused on getting money (which is GREAT) but like Tom Green said "she got under your skin, b/c you're always talking about her" and getting "back" at Joan.
Also, I don't think ANYTHING Joan said to the event planner was out of line. I'm an event planner and could EASILY tell how her assigned planner was NOT doing what she asked. She never insulted him. She said that she wasn't happy about the direction of the decor, and he pulled a diva. I agree completely with what Donald said -- the event planning company QUIT b/c they were in over their heads and couldn't handle the time crunch. I also think this was done DELIBERATELY by the show so that the ladies had to deal with yet another hitch in the road.
But hey, I can't stand Annie Duke b/c of her constant obsession about herself!

no need to re-write..i agree with EVERYTHING u just said!  
I agree that annie played the game brilliantly, but Joan did too - only she had a heart. I know "business is business".. but this WASN'T the real apprentice..it was for charity. Annie needed to be humbled for once in my opinion..and i think Donald & the whole world saw that.. I think if annie won, half the population would've rolled their eyes & said "typical"...was joan a pita at times too? sure..but her winning was a nice suprise. and i'm really happy for her

DH and I are so pis$ed off at the show. I feel like I wasted part of my life watching last night. I have lost any respect I had for Donald Trump after last night. He is a hypocrite and a complete a$s.
We will never watch another Apprentice show again after last night the way Trump cut people off when they are talking and does not treat everyone the same.

In response to the Event Planner situtaion from Ms.Merlot...I agree. the event planner was overly sensitive and there was no need to quit BUT....the event planner themselves SAID it was because of Joan that they quit..so why was annie being called a liar. that was my problem..not that Joan was totally horrible to them and it was justified..of course it wasn't. But Annie was called a liar for NO REASON!!!!
ITA i think the show did that purposely too.

ITA YAY JOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Annie just wanted to win to beat Joan but Joan wanted to win for her CHARITY and that is what the show was about. Also Annie wasted about 7 hours complaining about Joan and telling everyone how awful she was. If she would have shut up and put as much energy into her space it wouldn't have looked like craap.
Joan's space looked awesome and her party looked 1000 times better than Annie's. I loved Herschel's idea with the tickets for Cirque de Soleil that must have been great handing out free tickets to the show. Clint Black is about as useful as a ashtray on a motorcycle what did he do??? "He would pick himself up at a bar if he could" 
I didn't like the way Donald was cutting everyone off and not letting them get a word in either that was annoying. I would have liked to hear more from Jesse and Dennis. Jesse made it pretty clear from the start that he was on the game not his wife and his private life is PRIVATE it really annoyed me that people kept bringing up who he was married to.

I don't get how people think Annie wasnt' in it for her Chartiy.. she raised the most money for her charity.
Joan was the one who kept personally attacking Annie.
Im not understanding everyone's sympathies for someone who called another person "worse than Hitler" for no reason!! (among all of the other attacks!!!)

Annie then got all upset that Joan compared her to Hitler it really got under her skin so Joan just ran with it. Joan is a comedienne that is what she does she found a way to get under her skin and it worked. Annie then said she hopes Joan dies and some pretty nasty stuff. She just didn't say it in the board room.

I just feel like Joan was horrible to Annie and annie sat there and took it for weeks. Joan calling her a disgusting human, white trash...friends are Mafia....Annie just had it at that point.. I think anyone would have gotten fed up with Joan being sooo mean!!! Thats when annie started fighting back with being mean.. But Joan started the nasitness for weeks!!!

The problem with this show started way before last night. What about when he fired Kloe because of her DUI. That had nothing to do with him, she was picked for the show and should have been treated like everyone else. The final boardroom before last night too...why fire Jesse and Brandy...just because he wanted the drama of Annie and Joan. Donald is a smart man, he knows what he is doing and the show plays out in a way to keep his audience turning on that TV every Sunday.
I have to say I have a new found respect for Joan. Not a big fan of hers before the show, but really got to see the emotional, good person side of her. Congrats Joan!

Does anyone remember that argument? It was when Melissa got fired maybe and Joan was going off?
Where is everyone coming up with this stuff that Joan is charitable? She said herself it wasn't about charity anymore and Brandi was saying - it certainly IS about charity....

jenna u would've had to watch the whole season to see why she said that...Joan came in this from the beginning strictly to just raise money for charity..saying it didn't matter who won because they were all there for that one cause.she said "oh Brandi it isn't about CHARITY it's about WINNING" in a sense of because that's what the few OTHER contestants turned it into...it was sarcasm through anger. am i making sense?? lol.

Totally agree--
Great job to both women but TONS of respect was lost for Joan and her daughter. Their mouths were ridiculous!
Though, I am glad Joan won...I dont think she did it with the "honor" that people are giving her credit for. She was plain NASTY!

I thought the whole banter between them was so good. I think that Joan was out of line by the things that she said and it seemed that Annie kept her cool for the most part. But i did want Joan to win because Annie was all about herself.
I do think that Annie in a sense deserved to win but for Donald Trump to say he made a poker player his apprentice..I dont know I really think that is the real reason she lost but no one will ever say it. JMO. Overall she had the best track record despite the last task but doesnt sound very classy to say she is the apprentice vs legendary entertainment icon. Also I think you could tell by the audience reaction that Joan was the favorite and they were going by that too.
Oh and I was shocked that the guy David did not know what he was doing b/c he is on a tv show all about design! so in a sense she ruined his reputation. It was bad.

I don't know-in the last few episodes Joan didn't act classy at all. And her jokes are often low brow so I'd say Annie was classier than Joan throughout most of the show (although I don't like her either).
Also-what about being a poker player is undignified? This isn't directed towards you.
Joan kept harping on about how Annie is "just a POKER PLAYER" as though there is something degrading about it. I don't think it is at all. No worse than comedians who work in night clubs or do voices on Space Balls.

hmm..that's funny?? i wonder. i really dont think that would be the case - because there could be some HUGE controversy if it was...the dh however had a VERY good point... Refugees International is a huge HUGE charity, where God's Love we deliver is a much smaller organization, not as known, etc., which in turn is probably in major needs of funds.. I'm fully aware that ANY charity is fully 300% deserving of any donation, but dh just made a good point & said "He could pick God's love We deliver" mainly to get the word out & get them money since they're a much smaller lesser known charity and don't have as much money as the other". it is a good point which could have been the tug for the show to go that way..
but whatever - i just couldn't stand annie lol. she was a brilliant game player & had this been the regular apprentice i think she may have won, but it wasn't. they were there to raise money as much money as they can, as a whole. winning was not the most important thing. i was just so sick of her mouth & hearing her talk about herself with all her "I, I, I's"...hopefully this humbles her in some way. i'm glad joan won - whether she cursed like a sailor or not lol.

Neither Joan nor Annie are without fault. Sometimes Joan's comments were a bit off putting and walking off the show wasn't her greatest moment either. Melissa is a complete nutcase.
However, I could NOT STAND Annie. She was so FAKE. She was completly two faced and that was despicable. At least Joan was honest, if slightly out of line.
Bottom line, when it came to the final challenge, Joan outshone Annie in 3 out of 5 areas. For Annie, it was always about money and about winning.
