Can you recommend your lasik eye surgeon in LI?
My brother wants to get lasik eye surgery.
eta: Would you also mind sharing how much it cost?
I have no idea how much lasik surgery costs nowadays.

Can you recommend your lasik eye surgeon in LI?
We and 5 others I know all got it done at Long island eye surgical care in Brentwood. I joke that I should get referral checks on how many people I've sent over.

Mine was done by Dr. Hufnagel at Stahl Eye Care. I would think anyone from that practice would be good.

This. Dr. Werner at Stahl did my husbands and he really liked him.

I went to North Shore Eye Care about 10 years ago and highly recommend them. They have a lifetime guarantee.
I would recommend picking a place that has a guarantee. It's pretty common to need an adjustment after so many years. I have a friend that needed hers adjusted after 9 years and she had to pay for it again.

I had mine done in 1996 or 1997 (it's been a while, I can't remember!!) but he was amazing and I have never had any issues in almost 20 years!

I had mine done in 1996 or 1997 (it's been a while, I can't remember!!) but he was amazing and I have never had any issues in almost 20 years!
Had mine done at TLC in Garden City also just last year, June 2015. No problems before, during or after!

Dr. Martin at North Shore Eye Care.
They gave me a discount for being a teacher (yay!) and the cost was just under $4,000.
They offer 24 month 0% interest financing, so totally affordable.
Best thing I've ever done for myself. I've never had prefect vision....when I got my glasses at 7 years old, I realized I'd never been able to see. I now have perfect 20/20 vision. It's totally worth it.
