Yes. We currently live on 1 income (DH's...I'm a SAHM.)
We were on 1 income (DH's) when we first moved in together (I was a stay-at-home-girlfriend.) I got a job in 2001 and we used to joke around how it actually cost us for me to work.

it is scary to see how many ppl responded "no"  I wish this part of country wasn't so expensive

Yes. But - we rent, DH works close enough to walk to work every day, we don't have a car payment and we don't have kids. If any of those changed (except for where he works), then the answer would probably be no.

Yes..
I am a SAHM now. If DH could not work, I would work FT and we could get by, b ut not as easily (his salary is slightly better than mine would be FT).

If my SO lost his job and we had to live on my income, it would be tough, but we could pay all our bills.
I would never want that to happen, we would have quite a bit of lifestyle changes to make.

Maybe.
We'd have to sell our home and buy something out east. DH would have to get a more economical car. There would have to be some changes, for sure.
