I'm wondering with the loss of these two channels would they drop the package price? I mean geez they charge you for LOTS of little things with a package. It might be a wast of time but I'm going to call and complain.
My January cable bill went up $5 
I read in todays Newsday that there is a 3% price increase

Is that in Ronkonkoma? Can you do one better and give me a address... It doesn't have to be yours maybe one of your neighbors and I can look that up...

Yes, 11779 is in Ronkonkoma. I'm in that zip, and I have FiOS (at least for phone and Internet. I'm happy with my DishNetwork for TV signal, but I do have the option to switch over if I want).
I'm in Holbrook (Town of Brookhaven too) and we can have FiOS for phone and internet, but they don't offer it for TV. If you want the FiOS "triple play" (I'm not sure what they call it) with all services you have to use DirecTv. We looked into switching in September and that's what the deal is. Sucks!!
I'm in Holbrook and we just got FIOS for TV.
We are town of Islip though.
