I remember everything from both my c-sections. The first was scheduled. The second was more of an emergency, but I had not been in labor before hand.

I had a planned c/s with DD and I was lucid the whole time.

I had a spinal and remember the before, during and after.
We were  w/ the boys and will NEVER forget the moments when the dr told me their gender.

Mine wasn't a scheduled c-section. I had one after a failed induction. Although I was exhausted from the lengthy induction, I was definitely lucid enough to remember DH announcing that we had a son. I didn't feel out of it, just tired.
